The Writing Program launches "3 Sisters" publication

Tonight, Monday, April 27, at 5 pm, the Dietrich School’s Writing Program celebrates the launch of their new publication, 3 Sisters Issue 1 (Spring 2026), at White Whale Books. Nearly all the contributors will read from their work both in person and over Zoom. Pizza and dessert are to be provided.

The Writing Program is proud to publish work in/between/across literary arts genres, including works from a wide range of folks, including one undergrad!

The call for submissions for this inaugural issue’s theme was:

Love, Laughter, and 80s Pop: Pitt Stages Goes “Head Over Heels”

“Head Over Heels” the Musical closes out the university’s theatrical spring season. Pitt Stages, the in-house theatre company of the Dietrich School Department of Theatre Arts, is excited to wrap up the spring season with their production of Head Over Heels the Musical. The show, with its unique 16th century view into love, identity, and music, will open the audience's minds on how they approach relationships and identities in the world today.

Join HR for a 'Building Connections in Hybrid Teams' program

Calling all Dietrich School and CGS Staff! Human Resources is holding a program for building connections in hybrid teams.

Hybrid work offers flexibility, but it also presents unique challenges in maintaining team cohesion and ensuring everyone feels connected and informed. This interactive workshop will explore practical strategies to strengthen relationships and build community within your hybrid work environment.

The event is happening on February 10 from Noon to 1 pm via Zoom.
