By filling out this form, you will be placed in the queue of the Arts & Sciences Events Management Team and will be contacted by the appropriate Events Coordinator to manage the logistical aspects of your event and setup a planning meeting.
Please fill out this form if you would like to request event assistance for any or all of the following:
- Finding an event space
- Coordinating with Facilities (setup/breakdown, trash/cleaning)
- Internal or external catering
- Restaurant reservations
- Signature/approval of Event-related contracts (venues, services, private dinners, etc.)
- Specialty services (ASL interpreter, Livestreaming, Captioning, DRS services)
- Technology (equipment request, on-site assistance, troubleshooting)
- Booking guest travel (flights, trains, rental cars)
- Booking guest lodging
- Event policy and procedure guidance
- Cost estimates, budget development, and funding recommendations
- Internal event advertising (university calendar, digital screens, Pitt socials)
- Event material design (poster/flyer, programs, signage, invites)
- Honorarium & Reimbursements

Please note: Most events will require at least six to eight weeks’ notice for proper planning and advertising. Event planning assistance requested below this timeframe may be subject to approval based on available resources. Please make sure your event adheres to the established event blackout dates. Events that fall within these dates will not be approved and cannot receive assistance from Dietrich staff. Click here to view blackout dates.
