Jacki Weaver serves as a Grant Writer for Sponsored Projects across the Dietrich School, assisting with the development of grant proposals and related documents along with proofreading, editing, and formatting. Before joining the Pitt community, Jacki worked as an English teacher at Shady Side Academy Senior School. She has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in English Literature & Writing from the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English. In her free time, Jacki enjoys writing fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry; poring over a good novel (especially those by Toni Morrison); and traveling to learn about histories and cultures.
