The Tina & David Bellet Teaching Excellence Awards recognize outstanding and innovative teaching in undergraduate studies in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. Each fall, students and faculty are encouraged to submit nominations to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies. There are three requirements for Bellet Nominees:
- Must be a faculty member with a regular full-time appointment who teaches Dietrich School undergraduate students
- Must have taught for three years on the Pittsburgh campus
- Must receive three or more nominations
The Ampco-Pittsburgh Prize for Excellence in Advising recognizes outstanding faculty and staff who provide exceptional academic advising to their undergraduate students. Any Dietrich School faculty or staff member with a regular, full-time appointment who has served as an advisor for at least three years on the Oakland campus is eligible.
The deadline for submissions for both awards is October 31.
