Pitt students can take part in over 350 global programs in more than 75 countries. Research in London, service-learning in Bolivia, discovering what it takes to be a first responder in the Himalayas and more—the Dietrich School has it covered. Most programs are led by Dietrich faculty and can help students satisfy general education, electives, or major/minor/certificate requirements. Together, we are Taking Pitt to the World and Bringing the World to Pitt!

Our Vision
Pitt is a leader in global education, empowering its community to thrive in an interconnected world. We create dynamic and inclusive global learning experiences that contribute to the strategic goal of developing students’ global mindset and intercultural competency inside and outside the classroom, and preparing graduates to become innovative, culturally competent leaders. By leveraging global partnerships and fostering community engagement, we offer opportunities that enrich students, faculty and staff educational and professional journeys. We envision a future where every member of the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and College of General Studies embraces a global perspective, contributing to a more inclusive and collaborative world.
