Marlee Myers (A&S ’74; LAW ‘77) has been named the 2020 recipient of the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award. This award deservedly recognizes her remarkable professional achievements, her generous and longstanding service and support to the University of Pittsburgh, and her service and support to other community and professional organizations.
Marlee has been honored and recognized as an accomplished attorney specializing in publicly traded and emerging companies in U.S. and international transactions. As a founding partner of Morgan Lewis' Pittsburgh office, Marlee has been listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business every year since 2003. Marlee’s efforts have earned her accolades such as Pittsburgh’s Post-Gazette’s top 50 business leaders, Pennsylvania's Top 50 Women in Business, and being named by the National Diversity Council as one of the “Most Powerful and Influential Women of Pennsylvania.”
Marlee graciously gives of her time, talents, and treasure to the University through her service on the Board of Trustees, her participation on the Boards of Visitors of the Dietrich School and the Honors College, and her generous philanthropic contributions to the school and other areas across the University. Marlee’s dedication to the University is complimented by her work on the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Technology Council, and former work as founding board chair of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.
