Sam Woolley featured in WIRED and CIGI

Dietrich School’s Endowed Chair of Disinformation Studies Sam Woolley, was recently interviewed for an article in WIRED on Russian-backed media outlets. Woolley says that native English speakers are not the primary target of Russian propaganda. You can real the full article here.

He also authored an article for the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) that was published on Thursday. The article, “We Can Harness Digital Citizenship to Confront AI Risks” points out how our digital society largely mimics our real-life society and how AI could do more harm, especially to our democracy if not used properly.
