George Reid Andrews was honored by the Conference on Latin American History

George Reid Andrews, Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences’ Department of History, has been honored with the Conference on Latin American History (CLAH) Distinguished Service Award.

The award recognizes honorees whose career in scholarship, teaching, publishing, librarianship, institutional development or other fields demonstrates significant contributions to the advancement of the study of Latin American history in the United States. Andrews was unanimously selected for the award by the CLAH Distinguished Service Award 2025 Committee.
