Part-time instructor in the Dietrich School’s History Department, Anthony “Tony” Novosel was just voted best professor by Pitt students. The Pitt News hosts its annual “Best-Of” surveys and Novosel was this year’s best-of amongst the faculty. Dr. Novosel has been working at Pitt since 1989 and most recently in 2023 he was appointed as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contributions to peace in Northern Ireland.
