Dietrich School Faculty Members from GSWS and Psychology Named 2024 Bellet Awardees

Dietrich School faculty members Bridget Keown and Ben Rottman have been named winners of the 2024 Tina and David Bellet Teaching Excellence Award.

Keown, a teaching assistant professor in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program, and Rottman, an associate professor in the Department of Psychology, will be formally recognized during a dinner in April.

Established in 1998 with a gift from Dietrich School alumnus, David Bellet (A&S '67) and his wife Tina, and endowed in 2008 through the family's further generosity, this annual award recognizes outstanding and innovative teaching in undergraduate studies in the Dietrich School. Each fall, students and faculty are invited to submit nominations to the associate dean for undergraduate studies and the College of General Studies. A committee reviews nominations and honorees are announced in the spring, and award recipients each receive a one-time cash prize of $10,000.
