- Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award –nominations should be sent electronically to Joseph McCarthy, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies, at jjmcc@pitt.edu. Guidelines are available at http://tinyurl.com/pitt-teach-18. The closing date for letters of nomination is Friday, Oct. 13, 2017.
- Chancellor's Distinguished Research Award – nominations should be completed using the online form at upitt.infoready4.com (under the Chancellor’s Awards-Research link). - Provost’s Award for Excellence in Mentoring, acknowledging graduate faculty members for excellence in the mentoring of doctoral students. Nominations should be sent electronically to Dr. Nathan Urban (nurban@pitt.edu), Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Strategic Initiatives.
