Dietrich School Distinguished Professor Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Sanford Asher, Distinguished Professor in the Dietrich School's Department of Chemistry, is the recipient of the 2018 International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy (ICORS) Raman Lifetime Award. The award was presented during the organization's annual conference in South Korea. 

This award has been given two previous times, once at the 2014 ICORS, in Jena, Germany where Prof. Wolfgang Kiefer, (University of Würzburg, Germany) was the recipient and again at the 2016 ICORS, in Fortaleza, Brazil where Prof. Shulin Zhang, (Peking University, China) was the recipient.  This very prestigious award is established to honor leading scientists for their lifetime achievement in Raman Spectroscopy and its applications.
