Dietrich School, CGS Staff Invited to Discussion on Staff Diversity Climate Survey and Next Steps

The Staff Diversity Committee would like to thank everyone who participated in the Dietrich School/CGS staff diversity climate survey.  We’ve reviewed the findings and would like to invite all Dietrich School and CGS staff members to be part of a discussion about both the survey results and the action steps that the school can take to respond to what we’ve learned.

We’re offering three, hour-long sessions for you to choose from during the week of June 26. The first 15 minutes of each session will include an introduction and executive overview of the survey results. The remaining 45 minutes will consist of an open conversation facilitated by Mario Browne, Director of Health Sciences Diversity for Pitt’s Schools of the Health Sciences, and Erika Kestenberg, PhD, Associate Director of Educator Development and Practice for the Center for Urban Education and a Visiting Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the Certificate in Urban Education and Urban Scholars Programs in the School of Education. Mario and Erika are trained Intergroup Dialog facilitators, and they will add their expertise to this effort in order to gather your feedback and recommendations.

Your voice and your ideas matter, and we hope you’ll join us for the next phase of this important work.

Your RSVP is preferred but not mandatory. Reserve your spot today »
