Abstracts are now being accepted for the 12th annual Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Grad Expo, a celebration and showcase of the rich and varied graduate student research happening within the Dietrich School. During the day-long event, scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in the William Pitt Student Union, students will present papers and posters to be judged by a panel of faculty and graduate students. Outstanding paper and poster presenters will receive either a travel stipend to attend a conference of their choice or reimbursement for the purchase of research materials. Graduate students in their first, second, and third years are especially encouraged to submit an abstract. The Grad Expo format offers inexperienced presenters an excellent opportunity to hone their presentation skills.
Submission guidelines and judging criteria are available at the Graduate Student Organization Web site. Abstracts must be submitted by Monday, January 30, 2012 to be eligible for consideration.
