Introduction to the Arts and Sciences

Introduction to the Arts and Sciences (FP 0001) introduces freshmen to the School of Arts and Sciences. Through coursework and extracurricular activities, students learn about educational and cultural opportunities at the University and around Pittsburgh, and they begin to understand what it means to be a liberal arts student.

Students also learn how to get involved in internships, research, and study abroad at the Office of Experiential Learning Fair.
