Financial Aid & Scholarships

A&S Scholarships

Arts and Sciences makes annual scholarship and prize awards to our students in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement. Eligible students will receive an invitation and an application form to apply for these awards. See a listing of honors and awards on the Undergraduate Bulletin.

Student Employment

Many part-time student jobs exist on campus, and some allow you to work as few as five hours a week. These can help you meet your financial needs while in college. Learn more.

Work Study

The Federal Work-Study Program is a type of financial aid that provides campus jobs to students. Not every student is eligible; eligibility is determined by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.

Paid Internships

Paid internships differ from academic internships because students earn a wage rather than academic credit for the work.

Prizes and Awards

Some departments also give awards for outstanding students in their discipline. Please check with your department for information about departmental prizes and awards.

Study Abroad Scholarships

Research Funding & Awards

  • Small grants of up to $500 are available for undergraduate research or project supplies, and for travel in select cases. Students can also apply for summer undergraduate research awards of up to $3, 000 to do research projects of their own design during the summer time.
