Transfer Student Programs
Our Transfer Student Programs are here to assist you in making a smooth adjustment to the University of Pittsburgh, including invitations to social gatherings, one-on-one advising, and an important course entitled Transfer Student Focus.
Arts and Sciences Transfer Student Cyber Orientation
This orientation aims to help you make the transition to the School of Arts and Sciences. Once you have finished the presentation, please complete the cyber orientation survey. After you have submitted the survey, you should contact the Advising Center (412-624-6444) to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
Advising for Transfers
The Advising Center has professionally trained academic advisors who help students adjust to Pitt and the School of Arts and Sciences. Students meet individually with their academic advisor at least twice per term—once to discuss goals and how to attain them, and once to register students for classes. In addition, the Advising Center provides on-call advising Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to answer brief advising questions.
