Preparing for Your PittStart Session
Welcome to the School of Arts and Sciences. Before you attend your PittStart Session, you are required to do the following:
___ Determine if you have to take any placement exams.
___ Complete online placement exams before the following deadlines:
- May PittStarts: must submit exams by Sunday, May 11.
- June PittStarts: must submit exams by Sunday, June 1.
- July PittStarts: must submit exams by Sunday, July 20.
- August 5, 6 or 8 PittStarts: must submit exams by Sunday, July 27.
- August 19 PittStart: must submit placement exams by Friday, August 15.
___ Complete the online orientation and the list of 10.
This must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the session you are attending.
Failure to adhere to the deadlines could affect your course selection and the timing of your one-on-one appointment with your academic advisor.
