Minors comprise a basic introduction in a field of study. The related area may represent a thematic cluster, geographic grouping, or some other combination. Certificate Programs

Certificate programs allow students to complete a concentrated area of study in addition to their major. Certificates typically require 18-24 credits, are noted on your transcript upon graduation, and can be used to fulfill the related area requirement. Certificates from the University Center for International Studies

Arts and Sciences students may complement their major with a certificate from the prestigious University Center for International Studies (UCIS). You can read more about UCIS in the Undergraduate Student Handbook.
