Dietrich School Undergraduate Receives Ambrosio Award

Joelle Smith, a Dietrich School junior double majoring in English and communication, is the winner of the 2015 Anthony and Concetta Ambrosio Award.  As the recipient of the award, Smith will receive a stipend of $5,000 and a summer internship with CBS News in New York. Smith is the social media editor at The Pitt News, and she has held internships at Pittsburgh Magazine and the Washington Observer Reporter.  She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Phi Eta Sigma Service Fraternity, and maintains a 3.9 GPA.  In addition to her double major, Smith is pursuing a certificate in digital media.

Dietrich School alumnus Anthony Ambrosio (A&S '02), is the Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Human Resources Officer, of CBS Corporation.
