The 2009-2010 Fulbright Competition is Open

Fulbright Scholars enrich the curriculum with cross-cultural perspectives, revitalize their teaching, develop connections with international colleagues and students, and encourage U.S. students to study abroad. The competition for Fulbright Scholar awards for the 2009-2010 academic year is open and awards are posted on the Web site of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (www.cies.org). Grants are awarded to faculty of all academic ranks, including adjunct and emeriti faculty. There are awards available in 45 different fields or disciplines, and a variety of sub-disciplines and interdisciplinary fields.
