Chemistry Professor Receives NSF CAREER Award

Sean Garrett-Roe, an assistant professor in the Dietrich School's Department of Chemistry, has been awarded an NSF CAREER Award. The project title is “Ultrafast vibrational spectroscopy of chemical dynamics in ionic liquids," and the award period is July 15, 2015 to June 30, 2020.  The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program offers the National Science Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who, "exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education, and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations."
