Anna Redcay wins Children's Literature Association's 2008 Graduate Student Essay Award

Anna Redcay, a doctoral student in the Department of English, is this year's winner of the Children's Literature Association's Graduate Student Essay Award.

Her essay, "Winnie-the-Pooh and Reality, Too: Why A.A. Milne is Not the End of an Era," was submitted to the national competition by Professor Marah Gubar and selected by a panel of children's literature scholars.

Redcay was invited to present her winning essay at the 2008 ChLA conference in June.
